CNC Machining & Tooling
Turn your design into the tools that build it.
Contract machining and tooling support for customer-owned products and production programs. CNC machining, molds and production tooling for composite, vehicle and specialty manufacturing programs. Oreion Motors welcomes domestic and international project inquiries, from a single master pattern or fixture to a coordinated tooling package.
From one-off designs and prototypes to small production runs and mass production.

Worldwide project inquiriesManufacturing operations in the USA and Mexico, plus two facilities in China. Our Mexico factory is fully operational. Tell us where your project will be delivered and used so we can review the requirements with you.
One component or a coordinated program
Choose the scope your project needs.
Master patterns & plugs
Develop the reference shapes behind molds and finished components. We review your geometry, surface requirements, material and production plan to define master patterns and plugs for body panels, enclosures and other molded products.
Composite molds & tooling
Plan molds around the part and the process. Projects can include multipart molds, carbon tooling and directly machined molds, with release strategy, access, interfaces and finishing requirements established during the engineering review.
CNC machining
Discuss machining for plugs, molds and technical components in tooling foam, MDF, aluminum and suitable resin materials. Part dimensions, geometry, surface finish and acceptance requirements guide the material choice and proposed machining scope.
Assembly & bonding fixtures
Support consistent positioning as components become assemblies. Jigs, locating tools and bonding fixtures can be developed around the interfaces, assembly sequence and access needed to bring your product together in a controlled process.
Trim & drilling tools
Translate approved geometry into practical finishing aids. Trim fixtures and drilling guides help define edges, openings and attachment locations, with locating surfaces and inspection requirements agreed before the tooling is released for manufacture.
Tool refurbishment & conversion
Review existing molds and tools for a new production requirement. Defined projects can include surface restoration, mold conversions and changes to associated heating, actuation or controls, following an assessment of condition and intended use.
From inquiry to an agreed scope
A clear path for your project.
Define
Share the component, process, quantity and available design data. Identify the interfaces, finish and acceptance criteria that matter most.
Engineer
Review geometry, material selection, manufacturability and tool layout. Resolve the required revisions and agree on the scope before manufacturing.
Build
Produce the agreed patterns, molds or fixtures, with machining, finishing and associated assembly work organized around the approved design.
Review
Check the completed tooling against agreed requirements and define any trial, adjustment, documentation or commissioning work included in the program.
Start with what you have
Help us understand your project.
- CAD files, drawings, photographs or an existing part to review.
- Overall dimensions and critical interfaces, tolerances and surface requirements.
- Proposed material, manufacturing process and expected production quantity.
- Existing tooling details and known issues, where applicable.
- Target schedule, delivery country and destination, and required acceptance documentation.
You can inquire before every detail is final. Describe the idea and the information you have; we can discuss what is needed next.
Machining method, material, achievable finish, dimensional requirements and timing are confirmed for each project. Tooling trials, production validation and installation are included only where they form part of the agreed scope.
Project questions
Before we begin.
Can you build tooling for our own production operation?
Yes. The scope can cover a single pattern, mold, jig or fixture for your team to use, or tooling connected to an Oreion manufacturing program. Agree the required deliverables, tool ownership, trials, documentation and delivery arrangements when defining the project.
Can you work from an existing part?
You do not need complete CAD files to start a conversation. Share a sketch, drawing or existing-part reference so we can identify the design information needed for a tooling review.
Can we order one tool or fixture?
Yes. Discuss a single pattern, mold or fixture, or a coordinated tooling package. The engagement can focus on one manufacturing stage without requiring a complete vehicle program.
What determines the quotation?
Size, geometry, material, design readiness, finishing, dimensional requirements and quantity affect the scope. Send the available information so we can review the project and identify next steps.
