Aerospace & UAV Components
Develop the component. Define the path to production.
Contract component manufacturing and tooling support for customer-led aerospace and UAV programs. Explore composite components and production tooling for aircraft, UAV and space-development applications. Oreion can review a defined part, prototype or tooling package and help establish the development and manufacturing scope, with qualification, testing and acceptance requirements agreed for each program.
Contract manufacturing is available across our services. Hire us for a single part, a specific process or production stage, a subassembly, or a complete product. We can work to your designs and coordinate with your existing production team.
From one-off designs and prototypes to small production runs and mass production.

Worldwide project inquiriesManufacturing operations in the USA and Mexico, plus two facilities in China. Our Mexico factory is fully operational. Tell us where your project will be delivered and used so we can review the requirements with you.
One component or a coordinated program
Choose the scope your project needs.
Aircraft panels, fairings & covers
Discuss fairings, access panels, covers and equipment housings for development review. Geometry, attachment points, surface requirements and the part's operating environment guide the proposed material, tooling and manufacturing approach.
UAV shells & airframe components
UAV fuselage shells, wing components, booms and related assemblies can be evaluated against the program design. Load requirements, interfaces, mass targets and validation responsibilities must be defined before the production scope is confirmed.
Ducts, cabin & equipment components
Explore ducts, cabin panels, antenna covers and payload enclosures. Development considers packaging, fastening, access and material requirements, with application-specific performance and approval criteria established by the project team.
Skins, ribs & bonded assemblies
Engineered skins, ribs, stiffeners and bonded assemblies are development topics for technical review. Structural design, material and process requirements, inspection methods and acceptance evidence are defined before any flight or structural application is accepted.
Space-development & ground support
Discuss space-program prototypes, instrument housings, equipment panels and ground-support fixtures. Each inquiry is reviewed for its intended use, environment, documentation and validation requirements; prototypes and flight-qualified hardware have different project requirements.
Patterns, molds & production fixtures
Master patterns, molds, CNC tooling, bonding fixtures, trim fixtures and drilling guides can form part of the manufacturing package. Tooling is developed around approved part geometry, process requirements and the anticipated build sequence.
From inquiry to an agreed scope
A clear path for your project.
Review the requirement
Identify the application, design authority, supplied data, intended use and required qualification path before defining the work.
Plan development
Review materials, tooling, prototypes, assembly interfaces and the documentation needed for the proposed manufacturing scope.
Agree acceptance
Establish test requirements, inspections, design approvals and responsibilities with the customer and any required qualified specialists.
Build the approved scope
Proceed with the agreed prototype, tooling or production package after technical requirements and program responsibilities are confirmed.
Start with what you have
Help us understand your project.
- Aircraft, UAV, prototype or ground-support application
- Controlled drawings and interface requirements
- Material, process and performance specifications
- Quantity, timing and delivery country
- Design authority and required qualification path
You can inquire before every detail is final. Describe the idea and the information you have; we can discuss what is needed next.
Flight hardware and structural applications require an agreed qualification, testing and approval path. This page describes areas for project review; it does not establish aerospace certification or flight approval for Oreion or any component.
Project questions
Before we begin.
Can you manufacture to our drawings and specifications?
Yes. Oreion can review customer-controlled drawings and specifications for a defined contract manufacturing or OEM component package. Design authority, material and process requirements, inspections, documentation and acceptance criteria are agreed before work begins. Any flight-use qualification remains part of the program’s defined approval path.
Can we inquire before the design is complete?
Yes. Describe the application, available data and questions the prototype must answer. Development scope, material choices and evaluation criteria can be reviewed before production planning.
Can Oreion review customer-designed components?
Yes. Provide controlled drawings, material specifications, interfaces and acceptance requirements. The team can assess the requested manufacturing or tooling scope and identify information needed for review.
Does a prototype establish flight approval?
No. Flight use requires the applicable qualification, testing and approvals for that program. Those responsibilities must be defined separately from prototype fabrication or a general capability inquiry.
