Return Policy
A clear process for approved returns, shipping issues, defective components and refunds—designed to protect the customer, the product and the transaction.
Parts returns are not warranty claims.
All returns require prior authorization from Oreion Motors. Items sent without approval may be refused, delayed or returned to the sender. The approved return instructions will identify where and how to ship the item.
This policy applies to parts, accessories, replacement components and service items purchased directly from Oreion Motors unless a written order, dealer agreement or other contract says differently. Complete vehicles, vehicle deposits, dealer inventory, custom fabrication, engineering work and manufacturing programs are governed by their applicable sales documents, warranties or contracts.
Nothing in this policy limits a non-waivable right or remedy available under applicable law.
Four steps. No guesswork.
Contact Oreion
Submit the order number, purchaser name, part information and reason for the request.
Document the item
Provide clear photos when an item is damaged, defective, incomplete or incorrect.
Receive instructions
Wait for written authorization, eligibility confirmation and the correct return address.
Ship and inspect
Package carefully, retain tracking and allow Oreion to inspect before a final decision.
Requesting return authorization
Contact Oreion Motors before sending an item back. A request should include:
- Order number and purchaser name
- Part number, item name or clear description
- Reason for the requested return
- Delivery date and current item condition
- Photos of the item, packaging, shipping label and damage when applicable
A request is not approved until Oreion confirms authorization and provides return instructions. Authorization does not guarantee a refund; final eligibility is determined after receipt and inspection.
Eligible standard returns
Eligible parts may be requested for return within seven calendar days after delivery. To qualify, an item must meet all applicable conditions:
Required condition
New, unused, uninstalled, unmodified and free from damage or wear.
Complete contents
Original packaging, hardware, instructions, labels, accessories and protective materials.
Resalable
Clean and in a condition that can reasonably be offered for sale again.
Authorized
Approved by Oreion and shipped according to the provided return instructions.
Oreion may refuse a return that is late, used, installed, damaged, modified, incomplete, contaminated or not in its original packaging.
Non-returnable items
The following items are not eligible for a standard return unless Oreion shipped the wrong item or the item arrived defective:
Electrical and electronic
Controllers, ECUs, displays, wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, chargers, batteries and ignition components.
Special or custom order
Special-order, custom-ordered, made-to-order or customer-specific components.
Altered components
Painted, fabricated, programmed, modified, installed or used parts.
Consumable products
Fluids, chemicals, lubricants and opened service products.
Items damaged by improper installation, misuse, abuse, accident, water exposure, corrosion, incorrect voltage, improper storage or alteration are not eligible for return.
Restocking fees and refunds
Approved standard returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return results from an Oreion shipping error or applicable law requires otherwise.
After an approved return is received and inspected, Oreion will determine whether the item qualifies for a refund, exchange, credit or other resolution. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing and posting times may vary by payment provider.
Any deductions for missing contents, damage, use, repackaging or loss of value will be explained as part of the return review where permitted.
Return shipping
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless Oreion shipped the wrong item or approves a different arrangement for a defective item. Use the address and method provided with the authorization; do not ship a return to Oreion’s public business address unless the instructions specifically direct you there.
Package the item carefully using appropriate protection. Oreion is not responsible for loss or damage occurring during return transit. A trackable method with adequate insurance is strongly recommended. Retain the receipt and tracking information until the return is complete.
Incorrect or missing items
If Oreion shipped the wrong item or an item is missing, contact us within three business days after delivery. Keep the box, packing materials, label and packing document while the order is reviewed.
Oreion may request photos, measurements, part numbers or other information to verify the shipment and determine the appropriate correction.
Damage during shipping
Inspect packages promptly. If a package arrives visibly damaged, note the condition with the carrier when possible and contact Oreion within two business days after delivery. Keep the item, box, label, inner packaging and all packing materials.
Photos of the outer box, shipping label, protective packaging and damaged component may be required. Carrier claim deadlines are short, and delayed reports may be denied by the carrier.
Shipping damage does not automatically result in an immediate reshipment. Oreion will assist in reviewing the shipment and, when applicable, filing or supporting a carrier claim. A replacement, refund, credit or the option to reorder will depend on the facts, carrier process, availability and applicable law.
Defective parts and warranty claims
A suspected defect is reviewed separately from a standard return and may be governed by an Oreion or manufacturer warranty. Oreion may require photos, diagnostic information, test results, installer information, inspection or return of the part before approving warranty consideration.
Do not continue using a component that may create a safety risk or additional damage. Contact Oreion for the appropriate claim path. Warranty coverage, exclusions, remedies and shipping responsibilities are controlled by the applicable written warranty.
Order cancellations
An order may be canceled only before it has been processed, packed, special ordered or shipped. Once an order ships, the standard return process applies.
Special-order, custom-order, painted, programmed, fabricated or made-to-order items may not be cancelable after Oreion or a supplier begins fulfillment. Contact us immediately; a cancellation request is not effective until Oreion confirms it.
Complete vehicles, deposits and custom programs
This parts return policy does not create a right to return a complete vehicle, dealer inventory, production allocation, prototype, custom-fabricated item, engineering deliverable or manufacturing-program work. Those transactions are governed by the signed purchase order, sales agreement, deposit terms, dealer agreement, project statement of work, warranty or other controlling document.
Labor and related costs
Unless a written warranty or agreement expressly states otherwise, Oreion does not reimburse labor charges, installation or removal costs, diagnostic time, programming, towing, storage, rental vehicles, travel, downtime, lost profits or other consequential or incidental expenses associated with a return, delayed shipment, incorrect installation or defective component, to the extent permitted by law.
Frequently asked questions
Can I return a part after it has been installed?
Installed or used parts are not eligible for a standard return. If the part may be defective, contact Oreion so the issue can be evaluated under the applicable warranty process.
Do I need authorization before shipping a return?
Yes. Every return requires prior approval and return instructions from Oreion Motors. Unapproved shipments may be refused or delayed.
Who pays the return shipping?
The customer normally pays return shipping. Oreion may approve a different arrangement when it shipped the wrong item or when a defective-item claim warrants it.
How quickly must shipping damage be reported?
Report shipping damage within two business days after delivery and retain the complete package, label and protective materials.
Does the seven-day policy apply to a complete vehicle?
No. Complete vehicles, deposits, dealer inventory and custom programs are governed by their applicable sales documents, contracts and warranties.
